Privacy policy

System 3 (No Instructions, LLC) collects minimal data to provide Relay services:

• Email address, name, and profile photo from your authentication provider
• Authentication timestamps
• Relay names and user associations
• Plugin version number

Data sharing

We do not sell or share user data with third parties. We only share data with our infrastructure providers as necessary to provide the Relay service.

We only have access to files you explicitly choose to share through Relay. Your other Obsidian files remain private on your device.

How Relay works

When you add a note to a Relay Server, the Relay plugin tracks changes in a local database on your machine. These updates are synchronized and stored using our cloud providers: AWS, Cloudflare, and Jamsocket (for real-time collaboration).

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't currently support end-to-end encryption. If you need E2E encryption, we recommend using Obsidian Sync instead. For more details about how we protect your data, see our security page.

Plugin usage

The Relay plugin periodically checks connectivity with our servers to ensure proper operation.

Account deletion

Users can delete relays at any time.

To delete your entire account, contact us through our contact page.

Age requirement

Users must be at least 13 years old to use our service.

We may update this policy without notification. Check regularly for changes.
